Hunts Varmints

At D&D Outfitters we can guide you to many different Wyoming varmints. Our long range prairie dog hunts offer almost endless shooting opportunity. In fact most hunters will definitely want two guns so one of the barrels can be cooling! These little varmints are doing well in our area and many view them as a nuisance. So come out here, help out a rancher, and experience this fun and affordable hunt.

Halie with Coyote

You can also hunt many other varmints with D&D Outfitters. We love to predator call for red fox, coyotes, and bobcats. The rush a hunter feels when a predator is bearing down on him is exhilarating and making that shot isn’t always easy!

We can also show a hunter great rock chuck shooting on the mountain. Our ground hogs or marmots, seem to prefer to live and sunbath in the rocky cliffs, hence the name rock chucks. These vermin are 3 or 4 times bigger than a prairie dog and many take a spectacular dive when shot.

Another interesting and fun target are pigeons. Many pigeons live in the steep desert canyons and a pigeon at 300 or 400 yards is quite a challenge to hit.

Bobcat Hunting

We shouldn't forget to mention the famous Jackrabbit either who can be found anywhere we go and offers good running shots in the mornings and evenings.

These hunts are best in spring and summer and they are a terrific way to hunt Wyoming on more of a budget. These hunts are also very flexible. As you can see, we have many targets to choose from.

Dean also hunts raccoon nearly every night training the hound dogs, so whenever anyone is in Worland in the Spring, Summer, or Fall, they are very welcome to join in on a coon hunt.
