Hunts Accommodation |

Our hunters stay in a fully modernized cabin that we built in the summer of ‘96. The cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps up to ten people on comfortable bunks. It also has a bathroom with a shower and a fine little kitchen. The cabin has individually controlled baseboard heat in every room, but it is also easily heated with the wood burning stove. For relaxing after the hunt, we have a full length front porch. Most evenings hunters can hear rooster pheasants crowing in every direction. Mule deer, whitetail deer, raccoons and red fox also frequent the area and are spotted often. To say we put the cabin in a good spot, is an understatement.
For the sports fan that can’t miss a game and many of you Outdoor channel buffs, we do have a TV and Dish network. There is also a phone. Guests may find themselves gazing at the trophies on the wall or thumbing through albums of past hunts trying to find their picture. There is also an outdoor fire pit where many sit around a fire and relive the great hunt like the ancient hunters did. The banks of Nowater creek are also within about 30 ft of the cabin and many outdoorsman enjoy checking for tracks there in the mud. If you’re good you might see where the little toes of a mink bounced in and out of the water. The cabin is very comfortable and combined with the setting, we think you’ll enjoy your stay! |
